[親愛的…] i want to watch the world crumble to death in front of me

The start of this year has been absolutely. Well. Awful, for a lack of a better word. It certainly hasn't gone well. Iqra came over to NYC on the last day of 2014, and while I'm glad I was able to spend it with her, the consequences of the next day were hard to manage.
Winter Term classes started and I realized I truly had to drop the Management and Organizations course. I was truly too far out of my depth there and it bought on too much unnecessary stress. If I had a seizure the second day, what would the second week be like? The finals be like? After I get a grade that is not an A? Here's a slightly more in-depth look-back.
The way that NYU handled the situation was a little beyond me as well. A worker at the Bursar Office had yelled at me and I felt embarrassed and completely humiliated, breaking down several times while talking to other people.
What came up new was that NYU Wellness Center bought me to the ER. I spent around seven hours in the ER and then two/three hours in the Psych Ward. It was heartbreaking to hear an Indian girl cry out and wailing about her wish to go home.
I'm at Heming's place with some CL friends. This is the most relaxed and tense I've felt in a while.
The view is incredibly though. It's absolutely breathtaking. The city is alive.
